      Patterns, timings, and strategies explained

      Overview

Motions is a sophisticated trading bot that executes pattern-based strategies to create organic-looking chart movements. Instead of simple buy/sell cycles, it paints recognizable chart patterns while maintaining balance.

Important — read before running on a live token: Motions patterns are designed to make low-volume charts feel organic. The bot's trades are the dominant signal, so the pattern shape lands cleanly. On tokens with significant existing volume, your trades blend into broader market activity and the pattern may not paint as cleanly — other participants can move price in unintended directions. Always monitor your positions when running on a token with real volume. Be ready to adjust speed, aggression, or stop the strategy if conditions change.

      Core Concepts

      Patterns

Pre-defined trading sequences that paint specific chart shapes like bull flags, ranges, and stair steps.

      Duration

Total time the pattern runs. Longer durations create more gradual, organic movements.

      Speed

Interval between trades. Faster speeds mean more trades, slower speeds look more natural.

      Aggression

Low / Medium / High slider that scales candle sizes across all patterns. Same control works for every pattern.

      How It Works

      1. Select Chain - Choose your blockchain (Base, BSC, Ethereum, Robinhood, or Solana)
      2. Enter Contract Address - Paste the token's CA in the Token Address field
      3. Select DEX - Choose which exchange to route trades through (Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Aerodrome, etc.)
      4. Select a Pattern - Choose the chart shape you want to paint
      5. Set Mode - TWAP for even distribution, Jitter for randomized, or Chaos for unpredictable
      6. Set Duration - How long the pattern should run (1h, 2h, 4h, or custom)
      7. Configure Speed - How frequently to execute trades (10s, 30s, 60s, or custom)
      8. Set Amounts - Configure min/max buy and sell amounts
      9. Start - Click Start and the slot goes LIVE with a green border

      Quick Start

Get up and running in minutes with this step-by-step guide.

      1. Setup Wallets

Navigate to Wallets and generate trading wallets. These will be used to execute trades and mask your activity across multiple addresses.

      2. Fund Wallets

Go to Funding and send native tokens to your trading wallets:

      • Base/Ethereum - Send ETH (small reserve kept per wallet for gas)
      • BSC - Send BNB (small reserve kept per wallet for gas)
      • Robinhood Chain - Send ETH (small reserve kept per wallet for gas)
      • Solana - Send SOL (default 0.05 SOL gas reserve per wallet, kept for tx fees + ATA rent)

      3. Select Chain

On the Overview page, click the chain tab for your target blockchain:

      • BASE - Layer 2, low fees, fast
      • BSC - Binance Smart Chain
      • ETH - Ethereum Mainnet
      • ROBINHOOD - Robinhood Chain, EVM routed via Universal Router
      • SOLANA - Solana Mainnet, routed through Jupiter via motions_router program

      4. Configure Strategy Slot

In one of the 4 strategy slots:

      • Token Address - Paste the contract address (0x...)
      • DEX - Select exchange to route trades:
        • Base: Uniswap V2/V3/V4, Aerodrome, BaseSwap, SushiSwap
        • BSC: PancakeSwap V2/V3, Uniswap V4, BiSwap, Thena
        • ETH: Uniswap V2/V3/V4, SushiSwap
        • Solana: Jupiter (aggregates Raydium, Meteora, Orca, and more)
      • Pattern - Choose chart shape (Bull Flag, Range, Step Up, etc.)
      • Mode - TWAP (even), Jitter (random), or Chaos (unpredictable)
      • Duration - How long to run (1h, 2h, 4h, or custom)
      • Speed - Trade frequency (10s, 30s, 60s, or custom)
      • Amounts - Min/max buy amounts (in native token) and sell amounts (in tokens)

      5. Start Trading

Click Start to begin. The slot will show a green border and LIVE indicator. Monitor the progress bar and Live Activity panel.

      6. Quick Trade

Use the Quick Trade section at the bottom of each slot for manual buys/sells that rotate through your wallets automatically.

Tip: Start with DRY_RUN mode enabled in Settings to test without real transactions. Check gas prices in the metrics bar before going live.

      Bull Flag Pattern

Strong pump followed by gentle consolidation. Creates a classic bullish continuation pattern.

      Phases

      Pole (25%) BUY

Aggressive buys push price up rapidly. Front-loaded for maximum impact.

      Flag (65%) 70% SELL / 30% BUY

Gentle sells with occasional buys. Price drifts down gradually, forming the flag.

      Balance (10%) AUTO

Auto-balance phase rounds out the schedule. With Bull Flag's net target = accumulate, this phase doesn't sell off the pole's gains.

Net effect: accumulate. Bull Flag's heavy pole buying outweighs the flag's lighter selling — you end the run holding more tokens than you started with. If you want a Bull Flag shape that round-trips back to zero, use Stair Cycle instead.

      Best For

      • Creating bullish technical signals
      • Attracting momentum traders
      • Building chart patterns traders recognize

      Wallets & Funding

Generate trading wallets in named batches, fund them organically using ChangeNOW (multi-source so on-chain funding can't be traced to one origin), or fund manually from your CEXs. The bot deploys these wallets across all trading programs.

      Step 1 — Generate a wallet batch

      1. Go to Wallets & Funding tab
      2. Pick a chain, name your batch (e.g. "MyToken Launch Set 1"), choose wallet count (max 100)
      3. Click Generate & Download — your encrypted file with private keys downloads to your machine
Critical: the encrypted file is the ONLY copy of your private keys. The server stores public addresses + batch metadata only — never your keys. Save the file somewhere safe. If lost, the wallets are unrecoverable.

Encryption (recommended): when generating a batch, choose to encrypt with a password. The file is locked with AES-256-GCM. If you forget this password, your wallets are PERMANENTLY UNRECOVERABLE — Motions cannot recover it. Note the password down somewhere safe (paper, password manager) and never store it inside the file itself.

Step 2 — Fund the batch

      Two options:

Option A — Manual fund from CEX

Withdraw native (SOL/ETH/etc.) from one or more CEX accounts to each wallet address shown. Use multiple CEXs and/or stagger withdrawal times to vary the on-chain funding source — keeps your bot pool from looking like one user.

      Option B — ChangeNOW (recommended)

ChangeNOW routes your payment through a non-custodial cross-chain aggregator. You pay from any supported chain (Ethereum, Base, BSC, Solana — using its native ETH / BNB / SOL); ChangeNOW delivers the destination chain's native to each wallet from independent on-chain liquidity sources, breaking the funding-source correlation.

      Distribution modes

      ModeBehaviorWhen to use
Even per walletAll wallets get the same amount; live total shownSimple, uniform distribution
IncreasingFirst wallet smaller, last bigger; linear rampMost organic — varied wallet sizes look natural on-chain
Custom amountSet each wallet's amount individuallyMaximum control

      ChangeNOW fees — IMPORTANT

ChangeNOW is a third-party non-custodial swap aggregator. Their fees are baked into the quote ("all-in pricing") and vary by:
      • Rate type — Floating rate (default) is cheaper than Fixed rate (which locks the rate for a window in exchange for a small premium)
      • Routing — ChangeNOW picks the best route across their liquidity providers per swap
      • Token pair — common pairs are cheaper than exotic ones

The exact quoted cost is shown in the fee preview before you confirm — total cost (your input + ChangeNOW fee) clearly itemized. No surprise charges. Motions charges $0 for funding — only ChangeNOW's external fee applies, and as a partner we pass on a portion as our own affiliate revenue (which we may use to subsidize fees in the future).

      Hard rules

      • Max 10 SOL (or equivalent) per wallet — covers 99% of cases without runaway fees
      • $10 gas reserve always kept per wallet regardless of trading deployment %
      • Server never holds private keys — encrypted file lives on your machine
      • Fees shown upfront — preview before confirm, no surprise charges
      • Motions charges $0 for funding — only the ChangeNOW external fee applies

Step 3 — Watch funding status

Once you confirm, each wallet gets a unique ChangeNOW deposit address. Send your payment to that address. The dashboard polls status every 30s — you'll see WAITING_FOR_DEPOSIT → DEPOSIT_DETECTED → EXCHANGE_IN_PROGRESS → SENDING_TO_USER → FINISHED. Funded wallets become eligible for trading programs automatically.

What if I lose my encrypted file?

Server keeps a record of the batch's public addresses, so the dashboard still shows the batch in your list. But without the file, you can't sign trades or defund — those wallets are locked. Always back up the file.

      Defunding (withdrawing wallets back)

When a token launch is over, sweep your wallets back to one destination. Upload your encrypted batch file in the Defund panel, pick the wallets to drain, set a destination, choose a path:

      PathProsCons
Direct sendFast, free except network gasLinks all wallets to destination on-chain (reverse of funding privacy)
Via ChangeNOWBreaks the on-chain link — destination receives from ChangeNOW's liquidity pool, not directly from your wallets. Can convert SOL → USDC/USDT/etc. on the way out.Swap fees apply per wallet (charged by ChangeNOW, not Motions). Slower (each swap takes minutes per wallet).
Recommendation: for post-launch withdrawal, use via ChangeNOW if you want to preserve the privacy story your funding established. Otherwise direct send is fine.

      Security & Custody

Motions is non-custodial. Trading wallet private keys are generated on the server in memory, encrypted with your password using AES-256-GCM (the same standard banks use), and downloaded to your machine instantly. The server then forgets the keys.

      What the server holds

      • Public wallet addresses (which are public on-chain anyway)
      • The batch name you chose
      • A link from the batch to your connected wallet

What the server NEVER sees or stores

      • Private keys — not in any database, log, or backup
      • Your encryption password — only you know it
      • Any way to move funds from your trading wallets

      Your batches are yours

Every batch is bound to the wallet you connected with. Only that wallet can see it, fund it, or defund it. Access checks run server-side at every endpoint — not just hidden in the UI.

      To move funds out

You need three things — and only you have them:

      • Your downloaded encrypted batch file
      • Your encryption password
      • Your connected wallet for the destination
Back up your batch file and remember your password. Those are the only two things that matter — without them, no one (including us) can move your funds.

      Range

Use this for standard volume. Maintain price in a tight channel — equal buy/sell pressure keeps price stable. The default choice when you just want the chart to look alive without a clear direction.

      Phases

      Consolidate (100%) 50% BUY / 50% SELL

Alternating small buys and sells. Reactive to price - buys when low, sells when high.

      Best For

      • Holding price at a level
      • Building support/resistance
      • Natural-looking consolidation

      Recommended Settings

      Duration2-4 hours
      Speed60s (Slow)

Net effect: round-trip. Range is symmetric by design — equal buys and sells keep the chart flat and leave you with the same token balance you started with. One of only two patterns that round-trip (the other is Stair Cycle).

      Step Up

Gradual climb with flat consolidation periods. Creates natural-looking support levels.

      Phases (Repeating)

      Buy Burst (12%) BUY

Aggressive buys create the "step up".

      Hold (13%) 80% SELL / 20% BUY

Tiny sells keep price flat, creating the "step".

Repeats 3 times, then balance phase.

Net effect: accumulate. The three buy-pumps add more tokens than the three holds bleed off — you end the run holding more tokens than you started with.

      Best For

      • Gradual price increase
      • Building support at each level
      • Organic-looking pumps

      Step Down

Controlled distribution with flat periods. Creates resistance levels on the way down.

      Phases (Repeating)

      Sell Burst (12%) SELL

Sells push price down to next level.

      Hold (13%) 20% SELL / 80% BUY

Small buys keep price flat at new level.

Net effect: distribute. The three sell-dumps remove more tokens than the three holds rebuild — you end the run holding fewer tokens than you started with.

      Best For

      • Controlled distribution
      • Avoiding panic-selling appearance

      Accumulate

Push price down, then accumulate at lows. Classic smart money pattern.

      Phases

      Markdown (15%) SELL

Initial sells push price down to accumulation zone.

      Accumulate (70%) 35% SELL / 65% BUY

Range-bound trading with hidden accumulation (more buys than sells).

      Spring (15%) BUY

Final buys to start upward move.

Net effect: accumulate. Designed to leave you with more tokens at the end — the whole point of the Wyckoff accumulation playbook is to build a position quietly. Use this when your goal is to load up.

      Best For

      • Accumulating at lower prices
      • Creating a base for a rally
      • Smart money appearance

      Distribute

Push price up, then distribute at highs. Inverse of accumulation.

      Phases

      Markup (15%) BUY

      Initial buys push price up.

      Distribute (70%) 65% SELL / 35% BUY

      Range-bound with hidden distribution.

      Break (15%) SELL

      Final sells start downward move.

Net effect: distribute. Designed to leave you with fewer tokens at the end — the inverse of Accumulate. Use this when your goal is to unload a position without looking like a panic sell.

      Duration

Total time the pattern runs from start to finish.

      Presets

      DurationUse Case
      1hStandard patterns, quick campaigns
      2hExtended patterns, more organic movement
      4hLong-form patterns, day trading
CustomEnter custom hours (1-24) for precise control

      Choosing Duration

      • Shorter = More aggressive, less natural
      • Longer = More organic, gradual movement
Tip: Match duration to your token's typical trading volume. Low volume tokens should use longer durations.

      Speed of Trades

Controls the time interval between each trade execution.

      Presets

      SpeedIntervalTrades/Hour
      Aggressive10 seconds~360
      Normal30 seconds~120
      Slow60 seconds~60
      Very Slow120 seconds~30

      Total Trades Calculation

Total Trades = Duration / Interval

Example: 1 hour duration with 30s speed = 120 trades

Warning: Very aggressive speeds may trigger rate limits on RPC providers.

      Mode

Controls the randomization and timing style of trade execution.

      Available Modes

      TWAP

Time-Weighted Average Price. Fixed intervals between trades. Most predictable.

      Jittered (±30%)

Adds randomness to timing. A 30s interval becomes 21-39s randomly.

      Chaotic (±60%)

High randomness. A 30s interval becomes 12-48s randomly. Most organic.

Recommendation: Use Jittered for most patterns. TWAP only for precise execution needs.

      Stair Cycle

Combined Step Up + Step Down. Three pumps up, three dumps down — a mountain shape that accumulates and distributes in a single round-trip run.

      Phases

      Up Leg (~44%) 3 PUMPS + 3 HOLDS

Three uneven up-steps with intensity heavy → medium → heavy, separated by flat consolidations with mid-hold green spikes for organic look.

      Down Leg (~44%) 3 DUMPS + 3 HOLDS

Mirror of the up leg — three uneven down-steps with mid-hold red spikes. Distributes everything you accumulated on the way up.

      Balance (12%) AUTO

Final round-trip reconciliation. Net zero by design.

Net effect: round-trip. Up leg accumulates, down leg distributes the same amount, balance phase reconciles to zero — you end with the same token balance you started with. One of only two patterns that round-trip (the other is Range).

      Best For

      • Deploy and unwind in one continuous run
      • Dramatic mountain-shape chart movement
      • Round-trip — no net token change

      Wallet Share

What share of this chain's wallets a slot uses. Lets you run multiple strategies in parallel on the same chain without them stepping on each other.

      How it works

      • Each slot picks 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% of the chain's wallet pool
      • Default: 25% per slot — 4 slots × 25% = full pool used, no overlap
      • If a slot picks higher (e.g., 75%), other slots get less or get disabled with a notice
      • Allocations are contiguous and non-overlapping — slot 1 gets the first range, slot 2 the next, etc.

      Examples (50 wallets)

      Slot 1Slot 2Slot 3Slot 4Notes
25%25%25%25%All slots usable, 12-13 wallets each (default)
      50%25%25%Slot 4 disabled — total 100% used
      75%25%Slots 3-4 disabled
100%One slot uses everything; others disabled

      Why this matters

Multiple strategies on the same chain sharing wallets cause real problems: budget tracking diverges, token holdings drift from what each bot expects, and reactive modes (Night Mode, Organic Buy Up) can trigger pause behaviors on each other's trades. Wallet Share enforces clean separation so parallel runs work cleanly.

      Aggression

Aggression and Buy/Sell Range work together but do different jobs. The Range bounds every trade — no trade is ever smaller than the min or larger than the max. Aggression controls how much the pattern's heavy phases (pole, pump, spring, break) push against those bounds vs. how gentle the lighter phases stay.

      How they relate

Range = bounds of any single trade.
Aggression = contrast between the heavy and light moments of the pattern.

      Worked example

You set buy range 0.5 – 2.0 SOL and run Bull Flag. The pole is a "heavy" phase, the flag is "light":

AggressionPole (heavy phase) tradesFlag (light phase) trades
      Low~1.1 – 1.6 SOL (gentler punch)~0.5 – 0.6 SOL (very small)
      Medium (default)~1.6 – 2.0 SOL (top of range)~0.5 – 0.8 SOL
      High~1.7 – 2.0 SOL (max impact)~0.5 – 1.0 SOL

Notice the Range stays the same in all three cases — what changes is how aggressively the pattern uses it during heavy phases.

      Levels

      Low

Heavy phases stay modest. Whole pattern feels gentler. Best for small-mcap tokens, long durations, or when you want subtle activity.

      Medium (default)

Pattern's natural contrast. Heavy phases land near top of range, light phases stay near bottom.

      High

Heavy phases maxed out. Sharper, harder candles during pumps and dumps. Use only when liquidity can absorb it.

Rule of thumb: set the Range first based on what trade size you can afford / what looks proportional. Then use Aggression to dial the heavy phases' punch up or down without changing the bounds. If the chart looks too quiet, bump Aggression up; if it looks too punchy, bring it down — no need to retune your Range.

      Safety Budget

Optional cap on the total native (SOL / ETH / BNB) deployed to buys across this run.

      How it works

You set a max-spend value. The bot tracks cumulative SOL/ETH/BNB used on buys as the strategy runs — counted across all wallets in the pool combined, not per-wallet. So a 50 SOL Safety Budget on a strategy running 5 wallets means 50 SOL total combined, not 50 SOL per wallet.

Once your cap is reached, the bot stops issuing new buys but still runs sells and the balance phase, so the run ends cleanly.

      When to use it

      • Long durations (4h+) where total exposure could exceed intent
      • Fast speeds (10s) that fire many trades quickly
      • Whenever you want a hard ceiling on what the bot can deploy
      • As a safety net even if your buy range looks reasonable per-trade
Disabled for Range: Range is a symmetric round-trip — capping mid-run would leave the sell leg unfunded and break the consolidation. Available on the other 6 patterns.

      Quick Trade

One-click manual buy or sell at any time, on any chain, using your trading wallets. Useful for snipes, manual entries, or topping up positions.

      Wallet Selection

      BUY LOWEST-BALANCE WALLET

Auto-picks the wallet with the lowest token balance in your batch. Each buy lands in a different wallet — distributes naturally across your pool. No two consecutive buys land on the same wallet unless balances tie.

      SELL RANDOM WALLET

Picks a random wallet from the pool. Random selection avoids creating a predictable selling pattern.

      Manual Override

Pick a specific wallet from the dropdown if you need to buy or sell from a single address — useful for consolidating a position or selling out one wallet.

      Where to find it

Quick Trade is at the bottom of every strategy slot, on every chain panel. It works independently of the slot's strategy — you can fire a Quick Trade even while a pattern is running on that slot.

      Buy All

The green BUY ALL button distributes a buy evenly across every funded wallet in your batch. Type the total amount you want to spend in the Quick Trade input, then click BUY ALL. The bot caps each wallet's allocation at min(your_share, balance - gas) — so a wallet with less than the per-wallet share still contributes its max instead of being skipped.

Confirm modal lets you choose between Spread (15-second staggered window, cleaner price impact, less obvious cluster) or Instant (parallel fire, fastest fill but creates an obvious timing cluster on-chain). No PIN required — confirm step is enough.

Tip: type a deliberately huge totalAmount to use full balance minus gas reserve across all wallets. The min(share, balance-gas) cap handles the rest.

      Sell All

The red SELL ALL button next to BUY/SELL liquidates the slot's token across every wallet in your batch that holds it. One transaction per wallet. Two-step confirmation — first a warning modal asks you to choose between Spread (15-second staggered window, gentler price impact) or Instant (parallel fire, emergency exit). No PIN required — confirm step is enough.

Use Sell All after running an accumulating pattern (Bull Flag, Step Up, Accumulate, Organic Buy Up) when you're ready to unload. Use Instant mode only when you need to exit immediately and accept the slippage.

Heads-up: Sell All is destructive — there's no undo. If you run it during a pattern, the bot will keep executing its schedule and may try to buy again afterward. Stop the strategy first if you want a clean exit.

      Controls & Stop All

Pause, stop, and emergency-stop controls for running strategies.

      Pause / Resume

Each running strategy has its own pause button. Pausing freezes execution mid-pattern — no new trades are submitted, but the schedule is preserved. Resume picks up from where it left off, including phase position. Use this when you need to step away briefly without restarting from scratch.

      Stop

Stop ends a strategy permanently. Any trades in flight will complete, but no new ones are submitted and the strategy's schedule is discarded. Restart it like a new strategy if you want to run it again.

      Stop All

The Stop All button in the header stops every running strategy across every chain immediately. Use in case of emergency — wrong token loaded, market conditions changed, you spotted something off.

PIN protected: The Stop All requires your dashboard PIN to activate so it can't be triggered by accident.

      Logs & History

Real-time activity feed and permanent trade record.

      Live Logs

The Logs page shows real-time activity across all your strategies — every trade attempt, success, skip, and failure. Filter by chain, strategy, or wallet. Useful for diagnosing why a particular trade was skipped:

      • insufficient_balance — wallet doesn't have enough native for the trade + gas reserve
      • insufficient_gas — wallet's native balance is below the gas reserve threshold (sells need fee + ATA rent)
      • safety_budget_reached — Safety Budget cap hit, no more buys allowed this run
      • quote_failed — DEX/aggregator quote failed (transient — usually resolves on retry)

      Trade History

The History page is a permanent record of every trade your bot has executed: timestamp, chain, wallet, direction, amount, price, tx hash. Click any row to view the on-chain transaction. Use this to reconcile P&L, audit performance, or verify your bot did what you intended.

      Night Mode

Hands-off mode. Composes a random sequence of sub-patterns over your chosen duration, each round-tripping back to net-zero before the next begins. For nights or times when you need to leave a program running unattended.

      How it works

      • Picks ~60-min sub-patterns from Range / Bull Flag / Step Up / Step Down / Accumulate / Distribute / Stair Cycle in randomized order
      • Never repeats two sub-patterns in a row — the chart shape keeps changing character
      • Each sub-pattern's balance phase reconciles tokens to net-zero, so total run round-trips by composition

      Reactive behavior

      • Large external buy → counter-sell 80% of their size (extracts profit from their pump)
      • Large external sell → switch to defensive Range mode for 60 minutes, then resume

      Settings

Duration minimum1 hour (so at least one sub-pattern runs)
      Recommended4-12 hours for a proper hands-off session
Net effectRound-trip — tokens reconciled to zero each sub-pattern

      Volume Mirror

Reactive market-maker. Counters every external buy with an 80% sell, every external sell with an 80% buy. Baseline 50/50 volume between events. Net round-trip — anchors price while keeping the chart active. Good for hands-off use when you are not at the screen — purely reactive, never deviates.

      How it works

      • Watches the pool's swap stream in real time
      • Every external trade ≥ $200 → fires an 80% counter-trade in the opposite direction
      • Between external events: light scattered 50/50 buys and sells to maintain visible volume

      When to use it

      • Token already has organic volume; you want to anchor price without painting a directional shape
      • Defensive holding pattern between active campaigns
      • Tokens where you don't want any drift but want a continuously alive chart

Organic Buy Up — Small Dips & Large Dips

Self-terminating team accumulation with a 27-phase narrative chart shape. Click either OBU button below the pattern grid: Small Dips for subtle pullbacks, Large Dips for more dramatic shakeouts. Same architecture for both, only dip depths differ. Run ends when each wallet has deployed its budget.

Two variants — pick on the dashboard

      VariantDip rangeWhen to use
Small Dips10-25% pullbacksSubtle volatility. Mostly upward stair-step. For tokens where you want steady accumulation without dramatic shakeouts.
Large DipsSame as Small for first ~30%, then ×1.4Calm opening, dramatic back-half. Late dips run ~21-35% with a deeper late-stage shakeout. For attention-grabbing back-half volatility while keeping the opening clean.

      27-phase narrative shape

The bot walks through a designed sequence: opening pump → small dip → pump → deep dip → pump → mini → pump → deep dip → ... → ramp pumps (no dips) → BIG late-stage dip → recovery pump → small dip → final pump → small dip → FINAL_RIP. End mcap and runtime auto-scale to your SOL budget.

      How it works

      • Cumulative-net deployment tracking: each pump phase fires until cumulative net SOL deployed reaches its target %. Sells refund SOL to wallets, those wallets re-buy with refunded SOL — guarantees ~100% of your budget (minus gas) lands in the pool by run end.
      • Per-wallet 3% supply cap. If a wallet would exceed 3% of total supply, the size is auto-clamped before the buy fires.
      • Mcap-tiered max buy size: at <$10k mcap → 1.5 SOL max per buy; $10-20k → 2 SOL; $20-30k → 2.5 SOL; $30k+ → 4 SOL. Keeps early buys subtle, allows late-stage bigger buys.
      • Auto-scales to any budget: 20 SOL or 1000 SOL run produces the same recognizable chart shape — phase progression is %-based, not absolute SOL.
      • Phase 0 is pure-green opening: no sells of any kind during the first quick pump.
      • Auto-stops when no wallet can afford another buy.

      External-buyer pause

OBU automatically stops buying if external traders enter your pool. Tracks NET external SOL position — handles multiple buyers correctly:

      • External buyer enters → OBU pauses
      • Second external buyer enters → OBU stays paused (net position grows)
      • One buyer sells out → OBU stays paused (other buyer still in)
      • All external buyers fully exit → OBU resumes

Your team won't accidentally stack onto someone else's pump. To trade alongside external activity, run a separate Auto Buy in another slot.

      Wallet Usage setting

      SettingBehavior
25%Each wallet deploys 25% of its native balance, leaves 75% untouched
50%Each wallet deploys 50%, leaves the rest
      75%Each wallet deploys 75%
      100%Each wallet deploys nearly everything

$10 gas reserve per wallet is always enforced — regardless of which Wallet Usage % you select. Real-money runs need gas headroom for transaction fees.

Pair with Range or Volume Mirror for fuller chart activity

OBU produces a structured pump-dip-rip narrative. For a chart with more baseline two-way volume, run a parallel Range strategy in another slot on a different wallet share — fills the gaps between OBU's narrative phases with steady small candles.

Important — split your wallet pool: the parallel strategy must use a different Wallet Share % than OBU, so they get non-overlapping wallets. Example: OBU at 75% Wallet Share, Range at 25%.

      External Trade Reactions

Every pattern reacts to large external trades to protect your SOL / ETH / Base ETH / BNB / MON and extract value from external pumps. Behavior varies by pattern.

      Reaction matrix

      PatternExternal Buy > $200External Sell > $200
      Range
Volume MirrorSell 80% of their sizeBuy 80% of their size
Night ModeSell 80% of their sizeSwitch to Range for 60 min, then resume
Bull Flag, Step Up, Step Down, Accumulate, Distribute, Stair CycleSell 50% of their sizePause + cooldown
      Organic Buy Up

Counter-trades use the heaviest wallet (for sells) or auto-rotated wallet (for buys). All reactivity is automatic — no user configuration required.

Why this matters: without reactivity, the bot would buy into external dumps (losing SOL) or fail to capture profit when externals pump. The reaction matrix protects your position automatically while still painting your chosen pattern shape.

      P&L Tiles & Wallets Dropdown

The top metrics bar and the Wallets dropdown give you live visibility into how each chain and each wallet is performing.

      Top Metrics Bar

Six tiles that re-fill based on the active chain tab: Active, Wallets, Trades, Success, P&L, Volume. Click another chain tab and all six switch to that chain's data.

      Chain-level Wallets dropdown

Right below the chain tabs. Click "Wallets · {CHAIN}" to expand a table showing every wallet on that chain with: address, current native balance, cumulative P&L (across every running strategy on that chain that touched the wallet), and trade count. Polls every 5s while open.

      Per-slot Wallets dropdown

Inside each running strategy slot. Click "Wallets" to expand a per-wallet view for THAT strategy specifically: address, native balance, current token balance for the strategy's token, P&L, and trade count. Useful for drilling into how a specific run is distributed across wallets.
